Yesterday, we posted a question on our facebook page wall: What’s the best Children Book/s that you would love to gift your kids??  The choices of our facebook connections for the best Children Book are really praiseworthy.

Love You Forever by Robert Munsch – This book is really a best one to refer to your kids. It presents the inexplicable relationship of a mother and her child. The story begins with a mother singing to her sleeping baby: “I’ll love you forever / I’ll love you for always / As long as I’m living / My baby you’ll be.” She keeps singing the same song as her baby grows to a 2-year-old, a 9-year-old, and then a raucous teen. But their roles reversed when the mother has grown too old and sick to hold her son. This is a heart-touching story that’ll help your kids understanding the warmth of your relationship with them.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go Pop-Up by Dr. Seuss – This is a joyous pop-up transformation of all time favorite children classic Oh, the Places You’ll Go! written by veteran children author, Dr. Seuss. Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss – This is another timeless children classic by Dr. Seuss in the list of readers’ choices for the best children books. Ever since its first publication in 1960, this book has kept delighting and mesmerizing its readers. This is the story of Sam-I-Am who mounts a determined campaign to convince a nameless skeptical character to eat a plate of green eggs and ham–in a house, with a mouse, in a box, with a fox, with a goat, on a boat, but to no avail.

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery and Richard Howard – This is a Richard Howard’s new translation of the all time beloved classic originally written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. The narrator is a downed pilot in the Sahara Desert, frantically trying to repair his wrecked plane. His efforts get interrupted one day by the apparition of a little prince.

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein – A tender story, touched with sadness, aglow with consolation, which never harm the vulnerability of your kids but helps them understanding the gift of giving and a serene acceptance of another’s capacity to love in return. This book by Shel Silverstein is counted among the most inspiring moral stories ever.
