The love- story of Bella and Edward continues in New Moon, the second book of the series, first published in 2006. It compels you to cry with Bella’s pain of losing her true love. The title itself indicates the book is about the darkest phase in the heroine’s life. The storyline turns and twists with the emergence of Jacob Black, taking the place of Edward in this book. The ‘vampire versus the werewolf’ will simply engross you with the brilliant storytelling power of Meyer.
Eclipse, the third book, published in 2007, is all about hard choices to be made in life and the dilemmas a human faces when in love with a vampire. The mysterious killings in Seattle and Bella’s struggle in her choice between Edward and Jacob, heightens the tensions and dangers of Bella’s life once again. Mysteries, love, action- what more can you want in the worthy sequel to Twilight and New Moon?
The year of 2008 watched another record- breaking sequel in the series, Breaking Dawn. In the fourth and final book, narrated in parts by Bella and Jacob, Bella and Edward get married and take you to the final battle of Bella to save her love. Hold your breath for all the suspense awaiting you in this nightmarish ending to the vampire fantasy series. All I can say is that the best one has been reserved by Meyer for the last one.
